This is a beautiful image. I also enjoyed your depiction of the setting where you are traveling. Here it seems that we are witnessing a kind of opposition in the early evening sky between Venus in the West, and Jupiter toward the East, closer to the center of the sky. It is a dark, velvety looking sky, darker than sapphire or lavender. Venus now seems incredibly bright. What else could it be but Venus? And the moon in the far East, almost full. The air still cold and crisp. Though surely not as cold as your location.
