Moon and Saturn in evening sky
because it is more important to make sure Astronomical Calendar 2016 is in print next month. The Moon has emerged into the evening sky and will pass north of Saturn. They are closest in the daytime of Friday Oct. 16 (14 hours Universal Time, which is 3 PM by British clocks and 10 AM by clocks in eastern Nort America), so the Moon is to the right of Saturn on the evening of the 15th, and closer above-left of it on the evening of the 16th.
