Corinth
Arkhaia Korinthos, "ancient Corinth". In the
background, the Akrokorinthos or acropolis of Corinth, a fortified
mountain that looks impossible for any enemy to scale.

Argos pass
I expected the way between Mycenae and Corinth to be a
tough mountain pass, but it was a surprisingly gentle
onean easy bicycle-ride.

Mycenae
or Mikines in modern Greek; Agamemnon's fortress city, looking down over the plain of Argos. Drawn while sitting "under tree with friendly dog".

Mycenae more distant
Seen from the nearest point on the modern road.
