Alfredo
Don Alfredo (as we call him) was fashioned from a cottonwood
log by Alonzo Jiménez, a folk artist of Santa Fé,
New Mexico. He stood later in various prominent windows in Lyme
Regis. Children, despite his non-literal shape and color, always
identified him: Look, Mummy, a lion! |
