Biography/Writing Samples

Over the past ten years, I've worked as a feature writer for the The Greenville News and The Modesto Bee, interviewing a diverse group of people from Donald Trump and evangelist Bob Jones, to ER veterinarians and Mensa members. I have a BA in creative writing and an MA in journalism, both from the University of Arizona.

For several years my beat on The Greenville News was the weekly home section, where I wrote the stories of families and how they lived. This gave me invaluable insight into the American psyche.
