Remhurls

You may have noticed “Ready-made human rights letters,” added to the “menu” at the top of this screen.  Try clicking there, or, same thing, here:

Our ready-made human rights letters (a mouthful we have to say so often that we shorten it to “remhurls”) are short sample letters appealing for justice.  They are based, typically, on Urgent Actions from Amnesty International, sometimes on appeals from Survival International or Reprieve.

We make it easy to take swift action (whereas the research documents can be discouragingly lengthy).

Tilly and I have been running this system for a long time, sending remhurls at irregular intervals to people in an email list.  But my web page about it had been neglected.  It’s now refreshed, and any of these appeals that we send to our friends on the list will also be put into the web page.

Coupla notes:

You can almost always email your message, if you don’t have time to print a letter.

And, we put in a photo if we can.  We don’t have a phot of these seven Zimbabweans.
