The antapex of Earth’s way (marked with my red steering-wheel symbol) is the direction away from which we are traveling at this time in our orbit. You can see that the Moon appeared near that position when it was at first quarter on Aug. 20 about 3 Universal Time, crossing outward over Earth’s orbit behind us.
